Products
1. Equity Stocks
Blue Chip, the Hang Seng Index composite. These stocks represent industry leaders. They usually have good liquidity, robust financials, stable earnings and solid dividends.
Red Chip, are those listed companies that are controlled, or 35% owned by Chinese enterprises. Backed by their conglomerated parents, these companies usually have capital increase and restructure potentials.
H shares, are those State Owned company that listed in Hong Kong.
Penny Stocks, are those stocks traded below HKD0.5, or even lower.
2. Derivative Products
Warrants. There are two types of warrants, namely Equity Warrants and Derivative Warrants. Equity Warrants are issued by listed company, and are usually unleveraged, while derivative warrants are issued by investment banks to capture the up/down movement of equity stocks as well as indexes , and are usually 10-100 times leveraged.
CBBC (Call Bull/Bear Certificate), CBBC was first introduced in June 2006, and has grown into a popular product. It constitutes two types of certificate, namely bull certs that are bullish about the linked equity or bear certs that are bearish about the linked equity. It is a leveraged structured product, that enables investor to use small capital to track the movement of linked asset. Investors can hold position till expiration or sell before it.
Lot Size
HKEX listed stocks are traded in a lot or multiplies of lots. Lot size can be 100, 1000, 2000 or other numbers and is different from stock to stock. Order Confirmation
When orders are filled, ABCI securities will confirm with client immediately, for orders via online trading platforms, you can click into order book for details, for orders via telephone to hotline or to AE, you will receive a phone call from customer services representative or your AE to confirm the transaction details. You can also call our hotline or AE to check order status any time after an order is placed.
Settlement Date
Hong Kong stock settlement date is the 2nd business day after trading date.
